Short post for official word from Michael Ausiello:

Straight from the horse's mouth, Rob Thomas just e-mailed me to confirm that Veronica Mars has been renewed for a third season. The show got a 22-episode order that, depending on ratings, can be reduced to 13. Very reliable sources, meanwhile, are also telling me that One Tree Hill will be back and that Everwood is, in fact, dead. Talk about injustice.

Amy Sherman-Palladino is leaving Gilmore Girls. The WB were snobs and failed to renew her contract. The show might as well be cancelled. I don't understand.

ETA: This makes me really worried for the Mars family. Anything can happen in CW land.

I really thought the show had a good chance of a fourth season on Showtime. Another disappointing day for television.

Somehow I heard that Natalie Portman's SNL rap video skit was available online to download at youtube.com and since it was so hilarious I decided to check it out again at the website. Oh man, to my surprise this website has so many videos that it drives a fangirl so crazy with excitement. Afterward, I entered Sasha Cohen's name and I was able to finally watch the Olympic exhibition. Then of course, I entered Veronica Mars to find an exciting quote music video. Next I entered Roswell to find an old yet amazing music video to the song "Walk On" by U2. It got me all nostalgic. And then I found some pretty funny Buffy music videos.

Now I'm watching "Growing Pains"! It amazes me so. Here are the links...

"KEEP IT: "Veronica Mars" (UPN). Lately, I'm feeling like a CD that skips by routinely calling this the best thing on TV. But it is. As a writer, it makes me envious. I anticipate every episode with the same force I felt with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist," the first year of "Moonlighting" and the early and middle years of "Roseanne." I'm grateful for its existence. How's that for high praise?"
